Description
Ages 7 and up. No experience necessary. Class meets 1 hour per week for 9 or 11 weeks (Depending on day of the week)
We have everything you need at the studio and all materials are included.
We will learn the basic safety and operation of the sewing machine including winding a bobbin, threading the machine and troubleshooting problems. Students will practice pinning, sewing a straight line and turning corners sewing while making some fun projects.
Safety is our primary focus with our beginning sewists! Students will be using sewing machines and sharp tools. Your student is expected to be able to use these things in a safe way and be able to listen and follow directions. We trust you know your child best and whether they can handle this activity. Our machines all have a speed control to help keep little fingers safe. Please add any information we may need regarding allergies, learning challenges, etc in the “Notes” section of registration.

9 Sundays-9-10am OR 1-2pm- Jan 11 (no 18), 25, Feb 1, 8, (no 15, no 22), Mar 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
