Description
Please note: this Summer Class meets 4 days, Monday through Thursday from 9am-1pm.
This Sewing Camp is not a Learn to Sew class. Students should be confident sewers ready to challenge themselves with tricky techniques and longer projects that require patience and accuracy.
Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.
Please bring a water and a lunch. You can choose to purchase a lunch from Dribbles for $10 that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a drink. *Please let us know if your child has allergies that require the other students to avoid certain ingredients so that we can inform them ahead of time.
Week #8: Upcycle Week
Students will get creative reusing and upcycling materials to make a Funky Sweatshirt, a Sock Monkey and more!
Prerequisite: Ages 7 and up. Students don’t have to be sewing masters but they should have done a few classes with us before and be comfortable on the machine. These projects have more prep work involved, more advanced techniques and require some precision in stitching.
ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED.
