Please note: this Summer Class meets 4 days, Mon through Thur Aug 4-7 from 9am-1pm.
This Sewing Camp is not a learn to sew class. Students should have taken a learn to sew class and be comfortable using a sewing machine. We are using some challenging materials and techniques that require patience and accuracy.
Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.
Please bring a water and a lunch. You can choose to purchase a lunch from Dribbles for $10 that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a drink. *Please let us know if your child has allergies that require the other students to avoid certain ingredients so that we can inform them ahead of time.
Week #7: Glam Week
Students will learn how to work with knit fabric, sew zippers and more while making a Circle Skirt, Purse and Makeup Bag.
Prerequisite: Ages 7 and up. Students should have taken a learn to sew class already and be ready to advance their skills.
ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED.
