Description
Please note: this Summer Class meets 4 days, Monday through Thursday from 9am-1pm.
This Sewing Camp is not a Learn to Sew class but is ok for Beginners who have learned the machine and are ready for more challenging projects!
Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Exact projects may change as necessary. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.
Please bring a water and a lunch. You can choose to purchase a lunch from Dribbles for $10 that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a drink. *Please let us know if your child has allergies that require the other students to avoid certain ingredients so that we can inform them ahead of time.
Week #6: Animal Week
Students will learn how to use a pattern, applique, how to sew a zipper and more.
We are making a Dog Cube Stuffie, an Animal Messenger Bag, a Scrappy Snake and More!
Prerequisite: This class is ok for confident beginners. They don’t have to be sewing masters but they should have done a few classes with us before and be comfortable on the machine. These projects have more prep work involved, more advanced techniques and require some precision in stitching.
