Please note: this Summer Class meets 4 days, Monday through Thursday from 9am-1pm.
This Sewing Camp is Learn to Sew Friendly! We will go over how to use the sewing machine at the beginning of the class. No experience is necessary.
Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.
Please bring a water and a lunch. You can choose to purchase a lunch from Dribbles for $7 that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a water. (Other drinks +$1) *Please let us know if your child has allergies that require the other students to avoid certain ingredients so that we can inform them ahead of time.
Week #4: Baking Week
Students will learn how to use a pattern, applique, quilting, piecing techniques and how to sew a zipper.
We are making an Apron, a Cupcake Stuffie, Quilted Pot holders and a Reusable Snack Bag
Prerequisite: No experience is necessary. Ages 7 and up.
ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED.
