Description
Please note: this Summer Class meets 4 days, Monday through Thursday July 13-16th from 9am-1pm.
This Sewing Camp is not a learn to sew class. We are using more challenging techniques and sewing curves so students should already be comfortable using a sewing machine.
Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.
Please bring a water and a lunch. You can choose to purchase a lunch from Dribbles for $10 that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a drink. *Please let us know if your child has allergies that require the other students to avoid certain ingredients so that we can inform them ahead of time.
Week #3: Summer Sunshine Week
Students will advance their sewing skills while making Summer Shorts, a Sunray Tote Bag, Sunglass Case and a Sunshine Pillow.
Prerequisite: Ages 7 and up. In this camp we are making projects that require more patience and accuracy. Students should have experience using the sewing machine and be ready to challenge themselves and learn new skills.
ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED.
