Description
This Summer Class meets 4 days, Mon through Thurs June 23-26 from 9am-1pm each day.
This Sewing Camp will start with an overview of the sewing machine and is ok for kids who have never used a sewing machine before.
Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.
Please bring a water and a lunch. You can choose to purchase a lunch from Dribbles for $10 that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a water. *Please let us know if your child has allergies that require the other students to avoid certain ingredients so that we can inform them ahead of time.
Week #1: Sleepover Week
Students will learn how to use the sewing machine, patterns and more. Students will make a pillowcase, pajama shorts, a teddy bear and More!
Prerequisite: Ages 7 and up. You do not need any experience on the sewing machine for this class.
