Description
Prerequisite: Student must have completed Learn to Sew or have equivalent experience. A 1-on-1 or small group can sometimes be scheduled for this if there is no Learn to Sew class available.
Once your child has completed the basic Learn to Sew class, he/she may join in any Sewing Studio class that has space available. During the weekly Sewing Studio, each student will work on projects of their choosing at their own pace. Sewing Studio students choose the day and time that fits their schedule and commit to that class weekly Mid-September through Mid-June. You can leave anytime with 2 weeks written notice. You will have opportunities at the start of each season to request a change in day/time.
Tuesdays 4-5pm, 5-6:30pm or 6:30-8pm
Fall Dates: Sept 15, 22, 29, Oct 6,13, 20, 27, Nov 3, 10, 17, 24, Dec 1, 8,15
Winter Dates: Jan 5,12,19, 26, Feb 2,9 (no class Feb 16), 23, Mar 2, 9,16,23,30
Spring Dates: Apr 6,13 (no class Apr 20), 27, May 4, 11,18, 25, Jun 1, 8,15
*All fabrics and materials used for projects sewn in class are included in the class fee. Some specialty materials may be limited to a certain amount per person.
Class gets automatically billed monthly for 9 months from September through May. If you prefer, you can pre-pay in full per season. Email after registering to do so. 1 Month “Free Trial” ensures billing does not begin until Sept 1st.
If student wishes to leave prior to the end of the school year, 2 weeks written notice is required.

Each student will learn new skills as they work through projects of their choosing. We have many project options available at every level or you can bring your own ideas. Students work to try new techniques, build skills and gain independence with the guidance of the instructor. Our small class size and positive environment allow every student to explore their creativity and gain new skills.
Refunds/Discounts will not be given for missed classes. We do offer Makeup Class options as a courtesy. If you inform us ahead of time that you will miss a class, you may use the self-serve Makeup Class Registration on the website to book a time convenient to you. Makeup classes are not guaranteed and cannot be carried over to the next session.
