Description
Please note: this Summer Class meets 3 days, Mon through Wed Aug 21-23 from 9am-1pm.
This Sewing Camp is for students who know how to use the machine and have sewn with us before!
Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.
Please bring a water and a lunch. You can choose to purchase a lunch from Dribbles for $7 that includes a sandwich, bag of chips and a water. (Other drinks +$1) *Please let us know if your child has allergies that require the other students to avoid certain ingredients so that we can inform them ahead of time.
Week #8: Upcycle Week
Students will learn and practice new techniques while learning how to cut up jeans and sew patchwork fabric to use to sew into a tote bag.
Prerequisite: This class uses some more challenging techniques and is for experienced sewists only. If you have been sewing with us since September, you can take this class. Feel free to email with questions about your child if you aren’t sure if they are ready for this class.
