Summer#1: Love to Read/Harry Potter Week- Learn to Sew- July 5-8 (T-Fri 9-1daily)

Please note: this Summer Class meets 4 days, Tues through Friday from 9am-1pm.

This Sewing Camp is Learn to Sew Friendly! No experience necessary

Each Summer week has 3-5 themed projects that will be completed over the course of the week. Students will learn new techniques and sewing skills. Students will also have some “Free Sewing” time to break up the day and be creative. We will eat lunch outside as weather permits.

Please bring a water and an allergy friendly lunch. 

Week #1: Love to Read Week

We will learn how to use a sewing machine, pivot, back stitch and sew straight. We will learn how to measure, use a pattern, sew a zipper, applique and more!

We are making a Library Tote Bag, bookmarks, a Harry Potter Reading Pillow and a pencil case!

Prerequisite: None. This is a learner friendly class!
